You can use LLMs to help you with building presentations in all sorts of ways. For instance, they can:
Generate content ideas (for discussion of this, see Brainstorming)
Organize information logically
Suggest designs and layouts
Draft text for slides (for discussion of this, see Writing)
Provide statistics, quotes, or facts relevant to your topic
In this section, we’re going to show you a particular LLM-powered presentation tool: Tome. Tome doesn’t just suggest content for your presentation: it builds it for you too! You’ll start by entering a prompt, just like any other LLM:
It will then suggest a structure, including titles for each slide. You can move these slide titles around, delete them, or add more.
You can then edit the layout and content of the pages, which will be automatically populated with appropriate AI-generated art:
When you’re happy, you can have the tool generate all the pages, and you’ll have a finished presentation!
✉️ Send us your prompts! ✉️
If you have suggestions for additional uses of LLMs, we'd love you to send them to us (including an example prompt) at info@clearerthinking.org. If we like them, we may add them to our library and credit you where they appear.
